Last night we made some Carne Desmechada (Shredded beef) with sweet plantain and potatoes. Typical Colombian food. It was sooo good. Made me feel right at home.
Yesterday we celebrated Christmas with my boyfriends MBA friends. As the hosts, we decided to bake some typical Colombian holiday food. We made natilla, buñuelos, almojabanas and obleas. Total success!
Silvia Tcherassi’s mochila bags are handcrafted by the indigenous women of the Wayuu community in La Guajira, Colombia. Each bag takes around 20 days to complete before being uniquely decorated with Swarovski crystals in Silvia’s atelier. Beautiful.
